SALARY A – $100,000
SALARY A will pay you $100,000 a year as long as you can work full-time, but if you were disabled due to an illness or injury after 90 days you would receive NOTHING.
SALARY B – $100,000
SALARY B (Male) will pay you $98,000 a year as long as you could work full-time but would pay you $60,000 a year tax-free to age 65 if you were disabled after 90 days due to an illness or injury.
SALARY B (Female*) will pay you $96,500 a year as long as
you could work full-time but would pay you $60,000 a year tax-free to age 65 if you were disabled after 90 days due to
an illness or injury.
*Females pay more for income insurance protection than males due to a greater frequency of claims.
Premiums are based on age, occupation class and additional benefits selected at the time of application.
